One of the high points for me of having a son on a service mission is that we get to attend special firesides in Salt Lake for the missionaries and their parents. The last on we attended was by Kenneth Cope. Today we attended on by John Bytheway.
At first I wasn’t going to go because I had a migraine that for the life me I just couldn’t get to go away. But I went with my husband and son and had a very nice experience. He spoke on being a light to others and spoke specifically to the young service missionaries about the light they are to those around them. He was funny and spiritual and it was a very uplifting and entertaining evening. I am glad that my son’s mission provides these wonderful experiences for us as parents to have with him.
